A couple of days ago I found Forklift a Finder replacment. The main thing that caught my attention is the dual pane interface that I was missing from my Total Commander days. Yes I'm a switcher.
Well it even has Commander style keybindings which can be enabled in the preferences. Go to Forklist/Preferences/Shortcuts and choose the Commander key binding set. While you are at it you can enable the keyboard selection in the General part of the Preferences. That allows you too select/deselect file using the space bar. QuickLook is enabled using F3 in the Commander key binding set.
FTP, SFTP, Amazon S3 and WebDAV support are also part of the deal. This basically means I can ditch Path Finder and Cyberduck and I get my dual pane back. :)
Funny thing is when searching Google for "Mac OS X finder replacement" or just "finder replacement". Forklist isn't listed on the first 5 Pages of the results, I didn't check any further. I think binary nights need todo some SEO to get more attention.
